18/05/2011 Super Everything in Malaysia

Me & Tim are just back from an extremely busy 3 weeks in Malaysia filming and recording material for our new audio visual performance project that’s currently in development with the support of the British Council. Many thanks to all the lovely people who helped us out on our travels – especially Canon Malaysia for their support and loaning of equipment! Lots more to share on this exciting new collaboration in the months leading up to its premier in September.. there will be a dedicated project website launching in the coming weeks and lots of open source material from the project for people to remix! all very exciting stuff… Until then, here’s a selection of behind the scenes snaps taken by collaborating artist Fauzi Yusoff of Efozy Design Studio on his iPhone during the trip. Took these pics during a skype as chris and tim enter their final week of filming and audio work in Malaysia. They’ve already gathered over a terrabyte of material for ‘Super Everything’, TLS’ new performance project produced in collaboration with the British Council Malaysia. They’ve been working with great artists over in KL, check Facebook for photos of the shoots. The summer is going to be spent in an edit suite!

22/02/2011 Big studio clear out sale starts @ ebay

We just started want might turn out to be a very a long process of selling off some of our much loved but “not used enough” to keep equipment on ebay.. first batch is up now for the next week but we will be adding lots more over the next month as we migrate to our new studio space in Mare Street in Hackey.. So if your looking for a bargain – check here first!

03/12/2010 Malaysian Scoping Trip

In October 2010 we visited Kuala Lumpur to begin researching a new live cinema performance project supported by the British Council in Malaysia. It was an amazing trip and we were introduced to a wide cross section of different artists and organisations who we how to collaborate with through the project. We’re very excited about returning in the new year to begin production of this project and will be posting lots more info on this project very soon. In the meantime, here’s a collection of stills taken by myself and Tim during our trip. Enjoy!
