The amazing turntable skills of Ninja Tune’s DJ Food and DK where in full effect last week as they rehearsed their new audio visual set in the surgery using the new Serato software and Rane mixers. 12/02/2008 CREATIVE WORKSHOP – SAPPORO JAPAN


The Light Surgeons will be leading a two week creative multi-media workshop at the Intercross Creative Centre in Sapporo, Japan, from the 3rd to the 14th of March 2008. The aim of the project will be to create a unique collaborative film which will be screened at the G8 sumet in June.

In June we were commissioned by the Southbank Centre to create a 15 minute audio visual piece projected across four screens and onto the facade of the Royal Festival Hall to celebrate its re-opening. Watch the documentation of the event here.
